La presentazione della Castrol Marine è stata tenuta dal Technical Manager Mr. Dimitris Katsieris (vedi dati descrittivi più sotto). Lo slide show di cui sopra, rappresenta alcune delle immagini che compongono il corso, del quale un CD è stato consegnato ad ogni partecipante. Usa le frecce per scorrere le slides. Tieni presente che alcune sigle in uso comune nel mondo dello shipping sono state ampiamente spiegate da Mr. Katsieris, il quale è un oratore esperto soprattutto con audience di studenti e diplomati nautici.

The presentation of Castrol Marine was carried out by the Technical Manager Mr. Dimistris Katsieris (see personal data here below). The above slide show concerns only some of the images of the whole course; a full informative CD has been released to each participant. Use arrows to scroll the images. Please keep in mind that some of the initials, mostly used in the shipping business, have been fully explained by Mr. Katsieris, who is an expert speaker mainly to students and nautical graduates.

Dimitris Katsieris - Castrol Marine MAMA Technical Manager
Dimitris has a Chemistry degree from the University of Athens. He started his carrier, working for three years as a Technical Advisor and Customer support, in the Medical Diagnostics Industry. Dimitris Joined Castrol in 1992 and since then he has held various positions as: Chemical Laboratory Supervisor, Quality Assurance Manager, and Technical Manager, supporting the Marine, Automotive and Industrial lubricant business. More recently Dimitris has been working as MAMA Castrol Marine Technical Manager, leading the Castrol MAMA ( Mediteranean- America-Middle East & Africa ) Technical team. From this position he has been managing the technical support that Castrol Marine offers to the customers. He also organized various training courses for the Technical teams and crews of shipping companies and attended several presentations on Marine Lubricants for various Marine colleges, Institutes and Marine Engineer's associations. He also, has been writing articles on lubrication and lubricants in technical marine magazines.
